I set out with Chris and his 2 black laboratories for an early morning’s fly fishing on the Tongariro River here in New Zealand. I’m euro nymphing while Chris has a double nymph sign rig. It is early winter season and the runs of rainbow trout from Lake Taupo have not actually began yet. The trout do not come simple however I handle to get a couple of excellent ones in the internet prior to I need to head house in the afternoon.
