I travelled to San Antonio, TX and brought my travel 3wt rod with me since I simply can’t go anywhere without a fishing pole in hand. The river I was fishing was the Guadalupe river, simply north of San Antonio. It was an excellent journey, and I had the ability to generate many fish. One being a catfish! I understand, catfish on the fly! However it was a 3 types journey, and I had the ability to capture bass and bluegill also.
So the factor I took this journey to San Antonio, was that my better half’s sibling got wed! Congrats to Claudia and Ryan! Anyhow, the wedding event was one day, and we existed an overall of 6, so I had a couple of days to go attempt my hand at the river. I attempted lots of areas, and most likely might have done much better if I understood the river more. Likewise, the fishing pole was a 3wt, so it was difficult to get the bigger bass banners out with casts. However it still was an enjoyable time!
