Hey there,
Jeff and Dave from Highnoonhunts are fly fishing the south platte river in Colorado on 12-12-2020 for some winter season enjoyable. Really late fall, however close enough. It was cold. In this video we are fishing for rainbows, cutthroats, browns and cuttbows all right there in this little bitty river. We adhered to nymphing with a 5 wt. fishing pole, 5x weight forward drifting line, 5x 9 foot leader, 5x tippet to very first fly (size14-18) and 6x tippet to 2nd fly (size 20-24 ). We utilize a number 4 weight in this specific location. About 6 foot from sign to weight. Colorado fly fishing can be a blast this time of year. Great deals of open water and a 365 day season. This video reveals that anybody can fly fish, simply go.
If you have any concerns, struck us up listed below. We will have a couple of more videos through the winter season with other fishing experiences, so remain tuned.
Thanks for Enjoying
