In this current story (with an accompanying video) Dom Swentosky sets out what he views as the “golden ratio” for tight line nymphing. This ratio is the ideal range at which to fish a tight line rig, and Dom goes on to state that “By remaining within the Golden Ratio, we can rely on that a best dead drift is possible, however casting beyond the ratio generates a complicated variety of disappointed concerns.”
