The International Fly Fishing Movie Celebration (IF4) today revealed “Journeys With Charlie” from Todd Moen as the winner of the 2020 IF4, based upon votes cast by audiences throughout the world. “Journeys With Charlie” follows Moen and his 11-year-old boy, Charlie, as the duo starts Charlie’s first-ever location fly-fishing journey– to Kimsquit Bay Lodge in British Columbia, where huge rivers and big wheel need Spey casts and a great deal of perseverance.
Including traditional high-action connections, beautiful aerial shots, and a lot of chrome, “Journeys with Charlie” is an uplifting story of a kid’s viewpoint on fishing and dealing with his filmmaking daddy.
” As a filmmaker I am so appreciative I had the ability to record Charlie’s expressions and the defining moments on video camera,” Moen stated. “I understand that is among the most hard things to achieve, however it’s going to be something I’ll treasure for several years to come.”
Following each screening of IF4, consisting of 2020 virtual screenings, audiences have the ability to elect their preferred movie, with the winner protecting the rights to the agreement for the subsequent year’s IF4 Initial Movie.
