Traditions on the Mckenzie: Fly Fishing Workshop

Sign Up With Lane County Cultural Coalition in combination with Caddis Fly Shop & Mckenzie River Fishing Guides and Rafting Tours for among 3 newbie friendly sessions on the McKenzie. The classes will concentrate on the river’s history, the art of fly fishing, and how you can be a great steward of the magnificent Mckenzie.

McKenzie River Fishing Guides and Rafting Tours, with assistance from the Lane County Cultural Union, are delighted to use a 3-part workshop series on fly fishing and the heritage of the McKenzie River.

Workshops are Saturdays in April from 10 AM to 12 midday.

  • April fourth at McKenzie Rescue Training Center ( 42870 McKenzie Highway, Leaburg)
  • April 11th at McKenzie Rescue Training Center ( 42870 McKenzie Highway, Leaburg)
  • April 18th at places on the river (TBD with your instructor-guide)

Cost for the whole workshop (consists of all 3 sessions):

  • Grownup: $60
  • Senior/Youth: $35
