Euro Nymphing with the mono rig at East Walker River and Hot Creek in the Eastern Sierra’s, California. East Walker River streams were at 160cfs with extreme winds that made for some tough fly fishing and line management (as you can see in the video!). The wind waned the following day at Hot Creek and regardless of heavy pressure, euro nymphing was excellent with trout typing in on caddis and a good hatch popping around twelve noon.
