Today’s Tying Tuesday is a varied collection of bugs you’ll most likely utilize in the next month before things get too cold and the fishing closes down. We begin with a CDC emerger pattern for lakes, carry on to a midget emerger, and end up with a great little leech. Al these flies look relatively basic to connect, and appear like they need to put a couple of fish in the internet.
Up very first is this Black Olive CDC Emerger, from MF Fly Connecting on YouTube. It’s a UK-take on a lake variation of a comparadun, in easiest terms, and it’s expected to work effectively on stillwater. I ‘d attempt it out here in the states, for sure.
The folks at Avid Max have the next fly, and it’s a wonderful little emerger pattern that looks relatively basic (a few of these emergers can be needlessly complicated). The Foamie Homie is a midge emerger that I’m putting in my box today.
If it seems like Cheech, over at Fly Fish Food, has actually been on a leech kick of late, it holds true. They have actually done up a great deal of leech patterns recently, and this Mini Estaz Leech is tailored towards stillwater fishing. It looks basic enough.
