We are enjoyed welcome you and the neighborhood to the 2025 Southern Oregon Fly Tying and Fishing Exposition, hosted by Fly Fishing Veterans! This amazing, family-friendly occasion is devoted to commemorating the art of fly connecting and fly casting abilities while honoring veterans and inviting anglers of all ability levels.
The Exposition will occur on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Winston Recreation Center, 440 S.E. Grape Ave., Winston, Oregon from 9am to 5pm.
Emphasizes of the occasion consist of live fly connecting and fly casting presentations, novice fly connecting and fly casting lessons, raffles, quiet auctions, and the opportunity to get in touch with market and neighborhood exhibitors. An unique function will be the “Quilts of Valor” discussion, a moving event honoring veterans with handcrafted quilts as a token of thankfulness for their service.
As Doug Myers, Director of Fly Fishing Veterans, states, ” This occasion has to do with more than fly connecting and casting– it has to do with bringing individuals together. Whether you’re a veteran, a newbie, or a long-lasting angler, you’ll discover something here to motivate you”.
Veterans get totally free admission; food and beverages will be readily available for purchase by all participants.
