Invested a June afternoon Euro Nymphing the Famous Beaverkill River in the Catskills Mountains of NY. Had terrific success under hard conditions. Intense skies, low/clear water with a great deal of wind.
I provide you some suggestions on how to fight the wind while capturing some Beaverkill browns and rainbows.
This is an unique location for me, as I captured my really first trout here with my Daddy when I was 7 years of ages at the bridge you see in the video.
The flies of the day were a size 18 france fly and a size 16 plain walt’s worm.
Hope you take pleasure in. Tight Lines!
Cory
