A fantastic mid-September day euro nymphing the Magalloway River in Maine. Caught lots of lovely Brook Trout and Landlocked Salmon nymphing the quick, deep pocket water. Both the brookies and salmon shared the water together and success began a size 18 Walt’s worm with an orange collar on the dropper and a size 14 Blowtorch on point. Towards completion of the day, I changed to a size 10 Pat’s rubber legs after I saw a variety of stoneflies after turning some rocks.
The secret was continuously changing the weight of my bottom fly depending upon the circulation and likewise keeping my flies in the exact same existing joint, specifically in the pocket water, as a great deal of fish began the dropper.
Take pleasure in!
