It’s unusual that a single fly pattern can work every day and in every circumstance on a western trout stream, however I ‘d argue that Rim Chung’s RS2 Emerger comes quite darn close. Rim’s personally connected RS2s do not look just like the ones in fly bins the world-over, however a lot of variations fish exceptionally well. The primary takeaway is that less is more when it pertains to an efficient trout fly pattern.
