In this fly connecting training video, Alex binds an extended body green drake that he’s formulated over the previous year. Prolonged body dries float incredibly well, that makes them a terrific suitable for the quick damaged surface area of the upper reaches of our regional streams like the McKenzie and Willamette. Connect this pattern in various colors and sizes to match your requirements– Grey Drakes are appearing now too!
Keep in mind to the reader: I just recently fished this pattern in a size 10 hook with grey body to mimic a grey drake. I had it connected on practically all weekend while on the far upper reaches of the McKenzie throughout backpacking journey. The fly flights high and dry in even the fastest, most damaged water, and looks unbelievable on the surface area. The fish remained in contract, and plenty were tricked.
