This video demonstrates how simple it is to nymph fish with Tenkara in extremely windy conditions. A front was relocating and it was extremely windy. In Western design fly fishing you encounter twisted lines and birds nest. Tenkara is much easier and in my viewpoint a lot easier in windy conditions.
I was utilizing the Tenkara U.S.A. Ito (14’7″) with a 14’6″ Tenkara U.S.A. tapered leader and 2 1/2′ of tippet. I was utilizing a Bead Head Hares Ear and a Red Bead Head Zebra Midget (little). Every fish took the Zebra Midget.
Thank you for seeing my video. If you see me on the river, make sure to state hi. Tight Lines from Utah Tenkara!!!
