The folks over at Fly Fish Food have another terrific pattern for us to connect today– the Zola Bug! This fly is dead simple, and has a great deal of the characteristics that makes the perdigon such a reliable fly. I’m a huge fan of basic ties (why make complex something you do not need to?) and the Zola Bug appears like one that’ll work efficiently in a range of waters.
Oh, and AJ’s child assisted him choose the colors for this fly, so how could you fail with it?
