Out West is a fly fishing journey for smallmouth bass into Eastern Oregon’s high desert streams. Brian O’Keefe returns on video camera here, almost 15 years after Todd’s initial “Alpine Bass” debuted on Catch Publication. This time, with dry spell impacting much of the northwestern landscape and to provide trout a break throughout the dry season, Todd & Brian chose to go for smallmouth bass– the warm-water video game fish. With aerials and subsurface shots, this movie records a rustic experience just an angler like O’Keefe can manage.
